Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991) is better known under his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. The stage name is the combined name of a favorite uncle, with the initials and the first name (of Kid Cudi), of his idol Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, and also an agreement to publish with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. Scott also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. It was followed with a second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) Rodeo (2015), his first studio album, featured the hit single "Antidote". The second album entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott continued to release albums that year, including an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho and was released under the title Huncho Jack. The third studio album Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album was the source of his first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It made it to the top of the Billboard 200. Scott's hit single "Franchise" with Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs make it to the top of the charts within one year.
